| Our factory is situated in
George, South Africa, which was once described by the English novelist
Anthony Trollope as “the prettiest village on the face of the
earth.” George is bordered by mountains and the sea, within
a setting of parklands and gardens. The rocky shore-line gives way
to secluded sandy beaches and bays.
Vic Bay is renowned as one of the worlds best surfing beach and
became the inspiration for our brand, VIC BAY™.
The production process is vertically integrated and consists of
several manufacturing operations which cover the full spectrum of
textiles and clothing production. In the factory we spin the yarn,
knit & dye the fabric, cut and assemble our garments. By controlling
each of these critical processes, VIC BAY quality products are always
available to you at the best price.
As a South African company, we believe that results-based outcomes
are dependant on the calibre of the people we hire. We also have
a social responsibility programme to empower our workers.
Vic Bay helps to uplift the local communities by employing previously
disadvantaged individuals at both executive (55%) and operational
(75%) levels.
We endeavour to maintain high stock holdings to supply the growing
demand for our products. As we are a local manufacturer, our customers
benefit from our rapid turnaround times and prompt deliveries. |
